She draws on a directing methodology strongly influenced by Katie Mitchell

She is fascinated by theatre craft & unifying all the technical elements of theatre making in the most impactful way for an audience

 

She always looks to bring the audience into the story in an active way.

 

She has made work in a variety of different community settings; with people with learning disabilities, older and elderly people, people who have experienced homelessness & young people;

 

She always focuses on the skills & experiences of the performers in front of her & on working collaboratively to develop performance with shared ownership of a story.

Her work has been powerfully influenced her experiences of making theatre with marginalised groups & understanding the importance of telling stories that resonate with the lived experience of an audience
